The imagination pickups (the yellow ones) add to the score but won’t give Max new powers as such – finishing the levels with all pickups collected will however open new possibilities in the game which we won’t reveal here :)

Cool, thanks. One more question, what are the imagination pickups used for? Do they add to the score or does having a lot of imagination let max do new and cool things?

There are three types of pick-ups in the game:

The orange orbs are the ink – these don’t add to the score but enables you to draw.

The light yellow ones are representing Max’ imagination which the monster has stolen and scattered all over his drawings. The light bulb – the home of bright ideas ;) holds the pickups until you reach a checkpoint where they will be ’secured’.

The black orbs are secret pickups – which will increase Max’ imagination and eventually unlock additional material in the game.

Could someone please explain what teh different obs do? Is it just points or something a bit more special?

I see a black orb at 1:24 in this video.

What does the 9/74 light bulb mean, is that the number of orange orb’s in this level?

Thanks for the video Lasse and for adding such colorful artwork to this game.
