It’s been an exciting day here at the Nintendo Media Summit in San Francisco. A lot of games were announced and they introduced a new Nintendo DS XL, but more importantly they revealed that Max & the Magic Marker will launch in North America on March 8′th.
Oooohhh, Exciting!
Love from San Francisco!

PC version to launch in German stores on Feb. 23rd
One week from now – on Tuesday the 23rd – Max & the Magic Marker will escape his downloadable neighborhood and jump into real world stores around Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
He is brought there by German publisher TGC -The Games Company, who hopefully will be adding more countries very soon. Followers of Max would remember this was already announced several weeks ago – but now there is a date and everything.
Also, we updated the review list – some nice new reviews has been added.
No game without bugs, right? Unfortunately this sad fact is true for Max as well. We are really sorry about that and any inconvenience it might have caused. That is why we now release the first official patch to the PC version of Max & the Magic Marker. It fixes some of the bugs in the game that have been brought to our attention by gamers writing to us. Please don’t stop doing that – it is very valuable to us!
This and eventual future updates to the game can be found on maxandthemagicmarker.com/updates/
WiiWare version: Some of you are also asking about fixes to the bugs that are in the Wii build. We are eager to fix these bugs as well, but as patching is not so common on WiiWare, we can’t really give any time frame on this, but we are working on it. Also we can say that they have been fixed in the US build as well as in the Japanese build, as announced Thursday.
Have a nice saturday!

Today the it’s finally official official. Max will take over where Michael Learns To Rock left off (a Danish band who made it big in Japan).
We have been lucky enough to hook up with the Japanese publisher Marvelous Entertainment (Little Kings Story and Muramasa) who will be taking Max & the Magic Marker to the land of sushi. This is in many ways a childhood dream come true, as we are quite a few people here at the office with a soft spot for ninjas.
The logo above is the official logo for Rakugaki Hero (Max & the Magic Marker), and from what we are told, it means Graffiti Hero.
Below are a few pics I found here from the Japanese safety manual. I wonder what they mean… any suggestions are welcome.
Have a nice weekend!

Today we announced that Max & the Magic Marker will hit WiiWare in the Americas this March.
We are very excited that we can finally say it is coming soon. We apologize to everyone that hoped for an earlier release – so did we. If you can’t wait for the Wii version, you can of course already play the game now on your PC or Mac.

We are happy to announce that Max & the Magic Marker for PC and Mac will be available for download from this very website tomorrow the 5th of February. The game can also be bought from various download-services but if you want to make sure you support a small developer, you should buy it here and tell your friends to do the same. Go on! Tell them!
